Competitive Golf

Medals and Stablefords
During the spring and summer months, there is a medal and or Stableford competition each month. Most medals are played on the first Saturday of the month with Stablefords on the third, leaving the other two weekends for more friendly "turn up, fix up and play" games. There are also mid-week medals.
While there are no medals during the winter months, the Stablefords continue to form a Winter League, the winner of which is the player with the best four aggregate scores for the season.

Midweek Roll-up
The midweek roll-up is one of the most popular events at Hendon. The midweek roll-up runs every Wednesday throughout the year. Just turn up around 10 am and your name goes into a random draw for a 3 ball Stableford competition. Great fun and a great way to meet other members.
Knock-out Competitions
During both the summer and winter, we hold knock-out tournaments for all levels of golf – Tigers (up to 6 handicap) Sabres (7-11) Foxes (12-18), Rabbits (19-24), Eagles (under 35 years old) and 5-day members.

Team Golf
Hendon runs a number of teams who play in inter-club leagues against other golf clubs located mainly within the Middlesex area. Based on member's handicap ranges, players can represent Hendon in one of the inter-club leagues. In some cases, players may be eligible to play in more than one league
Most inter-league matches are played on a home and away basis from April through to September, however, some leagues commence earlier, and finish later in the season.
